Monthly Archives: January 2010

and life continues …

So, things have leveled out a bit…

M’duine has the taxes figured and e-filed.

G and AM were “rats” in the Misoula Children’s Theatre production of “The Pied Piper” last weekend and they were wonderful! Great Grandma & Great Grandpa were there, as was oldest sister.

P will be auditioning for a part in “The Wizard of Oz” at her middle school later this week.

Everyone is gearing up for the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby this weekend.

It’s the last week of the Girl Scout cookie sale. Then we will have to deliver all the cookies in three weeks.

Everyone (except Toddler and Mum) got new glasses. Toddler doesn’t need them (yet?) and Mum got contacts for the first time in 15 years. I’m actually fairly excited, but it’s tempered by the whole “trying to get used to foreign objects in my eyes” thing. AM and The Boys got flexible frames. Hopefully this will help with the “breaking them every other week” thing! P got frames with magnetic sunglasses (she is *so* adult!), because the Children’s frames were too small, so she couldn’t get the same deal on her glasses as the rest of the Littles. Daddy got flexible frames with Transitions lenses.

On The Needles

I frogged AM’s new hat again. It’s still too big. I’ll cast on again tonight.

I also need to cast on a pair of Longies for B and a pair of Soldier Socks.

I am going to put in an order for color cards from Knit Picks tonight. Once those get here, m’duine and I will pick out colors for his Dr. Who scarf.

Anyway … time to go get the Littles from school.
